We are honored to announce that Jaanus Rahumägi has joined the GlobalSource advisory board. Jaanus brings extensive worldwide experience in the intelligence and security sectors, including in some of the most challenging markets.
Jaanus served as a Member of the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) from 2003 to 2011, where he worked on legal affairs and chaired the parliamentary oversight committee responsible for supervision of Estonia’s security and intelligence services, with a focus on Russia and Eastern European affairs. He also previously served as Chairman of the Internal Security Council at the Ministry of the Interior and as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Estonian Police. He is currently the Honorary Consul of Cyprus in Estonia.
Beyond his public service career, Jaanus is the founder and senior executive of an international security and risk advisory firm specializing in corporate protection, risk management, and security advisory services.
